While all attempts are made to contact patients regarding abnormal test results, unfortunately this is not always possible.  Please do not assume your test results are normal, if not contacted directly.  

 

To obtain your test reults by telephone, contact the surgery and ask to speak with the Practice Nurse.  Your doctor will leave a brief message with her and may ask you to make a further appointment to dicuss the results.  

 

If you have questions or require more details regarding your results, you will need to make an appointment with your doctor.  This will allow the doctor to explain the results in full and start any required treatment.

 

SFMC has a policy of empowering patient's to take ownership of their health, and we always encourage you to be responsible for following up your own results.
