for the Manjimup Community
Need A Doctor in Manjimup?
Southern Forests Medical Centre aims to provide high quality, professional and personalised healthcare that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of the Manjimup community.
Southern Forests Medical Centre offers an extensive range of general practice services by an experienced team of rural doctors and staff that are committed to Manjimup. Our doctors include Dr Paul Griffiths (who is full time based in Manjimup) and Dr Peter Wutchak and Dr Jan Van Vollenstee who rotate between our award-winning practice Collie River Valley Medical Centre and Southern Forests Medical Centre.
In addition to general practice, we provide procedural services in obstetrics, anaesthetics and minor general surgery. Our doctors are also part of the oncall emergency department coverage and inpatient care at the Warren District Hospital and Moonya Aged Care Facility.
The philosophy of our practice is to provide a reliable and high quality medical service. We believe you do not have to live in a city to receive the best of medical care. Our first medical practice, Collie River Valley Medical was recently awarded the 2015 RACGP National and Western Australia General Practice of the Year and the 2014 WAGPET Training Practice of the Year. Our aim is to replicate our successful Collie surgery service in Manjimup. Our team is very focussed on producing a Manjimup specific GP service that caters for the needs and requirements of the Manjimup community.
We understand that Southern Forests Medical Centre is a work in progress. Building a complete and mature medical centre does take time. Please feel free to critique our clinic and we welcome feedback and suggestions on how we can improve. We are committed and aim to grow and develop to meet the medical needs of the Manjimup community.
